We all do it from November through to April we cover up. We venture out swaddled in jumpers, jeans, and Lycra tights with more layers than that Jennifer Aniston infamous haircut.
Aint nobody got time for being cold.
But as soon as the temperature starts to rise to a more pleasing level and it’s time to show the sun some skin can leave you feeling flat. Because what often happens is that instead of unveiling healthy glowing smooth skin what emerges can only be likened to unpacking a Ryvita and what I mean by this is being presented with a visually unappealing sight, which becomes more attractive to the eye when it’s covered in something moist.
This year I was determined not to unveil a Ryvita to Mr Sun come springtime so I commenced Operation Bodyblitz.
Each morning and evening I religiously moisturise my skin and have already started keeping those feet in check. But one thing I was lacking was a good exfoliator for the rest of my skin. One, which would rid me of those dead skin cells leaving me with fresh skin to nurture.
A friend who was blown away by the results after only trying a small sample recommended the following product.
The first thing you notice about this product is the size at £31.00 for 250g of high end product it also represents great value for money.
The second thing you will notice is the scent… in a word it smells just like a spa, this is due to the essential oil combination of mint, rosemary and geranium. My bathroom retained the scent well into the following morning it smelt like spa heaven.
The product is of medium consistency, made from natural sugar and sea salt it is grainy enough to exfoliate effectively but not that grainy that you feel that you have attacked your skin with 40 grit sandpaper.
Application of the product is onto clean damp skin I massage mine into my skin using small circular motions to also help with the appearance of any cellulite. As you massage you will notice the product gradually turning into light oil. Once thoroughly massaged in you then just simply rinse the skin.
The result is skin that not only looks happier but also feels like velvet, it really does leave it feeling that smooth. I can honestly say I have never used a product that has given such epic results from the onset.
Hazelnut Oil and nourishing Shea butter help preserve the skins protective **hydrolipidic film which is why it feels so very very soft.
** The hydrolipidic film is a protective film that covers the entire surface of the skin. It is composed mainly of sweat, sebum and water and its main function is to defend the skin against bacteria, acting as an external protective barrier.
I also conducted a small test . I applied the product onto just one arm in a quest to see if somebody could identify by touch the arm, which I had used the product on. I didn’t ask my husband as he is a builder and probably doesn’t even have fingerprints his hands are so rough, No I needed soft sensitive fingers to perform this test. So what better than that of a child (enter my son Morgan stage left).
It really was child’s play for him after running his hands down both arms he immediately picked out the arm, which I had exfoliated with Tonic Body Polisher. He stated that it felt like silk.
So from he mouth of babes straight to you, if you want silky smooth spring ready skin there really is only one product for the job.
Purchase some for yourself and then when you realise the benefits pass on the word because secrets like this deserve to become common knowledge.
Have you tried this product and are already a fan? Let me know your thoughts?
