January Favourites 2015

WELCOME pretty ones to all of the products I have used and loved during January. No better way then to end probably the longest financial month of the year with a few items to tempt you and lift your spirits to get you reaching into that purse again…. And with items from all sorts of budgets contained within there will definitly be something you can all afford.

I will start with a disclaimer if after reading my favourites you go out and rack up that credit card again we need to have words…..Purchase wisely and budget according to your means. There is no point in being the best turned out person sat in Citizens advice getting debt counselling. And with so many bargains to be had do your homework shop like a blogger !!!

Let’s begin shall we…

Number 1.

I have been loving all of these makeup products this month.

The Naked Flushed Palette.

I adore this palette . A bronzer, highlighter and blush small enough not to take up too much room in your handbag, this is deal to keep you looking fresh faced ALL day. no more excuses for mid afternoon makeup fatigue with this bad boy to hand. The colours all blend together well and you are left with a beautiful glowy complexion which brightens your skin and really catches the light. The product apples easily and feels soft and silky on your skin and although highly pigmented it still blends like a boss .Retailing at £22 it won’t break the bank and will earn it’s keep in compliments you will receive as a result of it.

Makeup Revolution I Love Makeup Naked Chocolate.

With a quirky 3D chocolate bar designed packaging it’s hard to believe that the price tag on this 16 shade palette is a mere £7.99 and after using it I feel like I have robbed them !! I don’t know how they keep pulling such great palettes out of the bag but they keep on coming. This palette consists of both matte and shimmer shades, you can create some stunning looks from subtle to smokey. With it’s full size mirror and sturdy packaging this product is not one to be hidden away in a drawer it’s way too EYE catching ( see what i did there ) !!! The colours apply well and are easily blended they last the duration and you can spend a whole day just making stunning colour combinations whoever thought of the mix has a great EYE for colour matching ( Slipped that one in there too ).And unlike a real chocolate bar you won’t feel like a filthy food whore after indulging in it’s contents!

Makeup Revolution ALL day and Night Eyeliner One Sin too Many

Now if there is one product that really frustrates me it’s eyeliner finding one that sits well isn’t so weak that you have to basically go over it more times than you do teaching a puppy to poop outside ( and that is a lot of times believe me ) So I thought right I am about to find the achilles heel of Make-Up Revvolutions foot in the beauty market with this £1.99 allegedly smudge proof all day and night eyeliner .

For a mere £1.99 they boast this product will give you an eyeliner which is basically more endurance than Mo Farah in a Marathon yeah right …… God Damn it they did it again !!!!!!! It really is what they say it is.The colour is intense it applies so well you actually have a lower eyelid left at the end of it’s soft application . And one sweep really is enough to see you through the day !!! I’m going to buy 10 of them because I love them so much and now I have found one I love my OCD it will disappear has started to kick in .

Also tucked in the main photograph is Mac Pigment in Rose, I love this although a tad expensive for a small pot a tiny amount leaves you with a pop of colour that is shimmery rose gold.

Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm…

I have already reviewed this so here is the link to see what I had to say about it.

YSL Black Opium.

I received this for Christmas and It has gone straight to number 2 on my perfume favourites list. My gosh does it smell good. If you are not a fan of heavy scents then it probably won’t tickle your pickle but if you like an intense yet not overpowering scent then you will love this. The packaging is pretty and as you can see looks great on your bathroom shelf. A new twist on the old opium scent , this perfume has notes of coffee, pink pepper, orange blossom, jasmine, vanilla, patchouli and cedar. If you get a chance next time you are near a perfume counter have a spray and it does not matter if you hated Opium either. I did and I love this !!!!

Yankee Candle Wild fig.

With the Christmas themed candles now sadly a thing of the past , Yankee Candle had to do something to keep us interested and this new scent certainly does that. This fruity dark aroma will make your home smell and look devine. It has a relaxing scent to it and almost like the smell of perfume after you walk back into your bedroom 15 mins after spraying it noticeable yet not overpowering in the home.

Beauty Protector Protect & Detangle

I received this in my last Birchbox and sadly I have used it all up and its currently out of stock BOOOOOOOO. It smells gorgeous A bit like burnt sugar and caramel and leaves your hair smelling amazing. It offers great protection as well as smoothing out any frizz , safeguarding your colour and adding shine. Only not at the minute because you can’t buy it not that this has annoyed me ….. much !!!

So there you have it.Looking back I had a lot to say this month didn’t I ?

So here is a little video for the chaps over at Makeup Revolution for solving my eyeliner woes…
