My biggest friend at this time of the year is probably Vitamin C. Not only is it great for your skin but it is also a must have in keeping you in the rudest of health over winter.
Therefore every morning the first thing I do is take these supplements.
Vitamin C cannot be stored in our bodies therefore we need to keep topped up ourselves. By doing so we keep our cells protected and healthy. So to help this I chew on Haliborange £6.49 Washed down with Berocca £4.79.
This kick starts the day for me on the right footing. Not only does this boost my mental performance, it also gives me a great energy boost right when I need it the most. With 476mg of Vitamin C in every tablet (as well as other essential vitamins) I can feel happy that my body is getting the vital nutrition it needs to fight of any pesky bugs that may be heading my way.
And I don’t stop there Vitamin C also helps to produce collagen and in order to keep my skin in tip top condition, I am using the following products:-
Not only does this look like Marmalade it kind of smells like it too. And what’s not to love about that!
Taken from the website this product.
“ Enriched with antioxidant-rich vitamin C, rose hips and virgin cherry oil which will nourish your skin and protect it against harsh environmental aggressors, the cleanser will banish grime whilst hydrating your skin to leave it feeling completely purified, as well as giving your complexion a soft and supple texture “
I apply this to my face after splashing it with warm water; gently massaging this into my skin the gel melts into wonderfully aromatic oil, which removes make-up easily. It washes off easily and leaves my skin feeling fresh clean and super soft.
Keeping within the same range after toning I go on to use.
Ole Henriksen Truth Serum £18.00
“ Like a daily supplement for your face, but in liquid form, the Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Collagen Booster is enriched with vitamin C and E to help soothe and heal the face, and strengthen the collagen to prevent and smooth fine line and wrinkles “
Both of these products are just like vitamins for the face and will leave your skin feeling refreshed and healthy.
Not wanting my eyes to miss out on the Vitamin C intake I then go on to use
Vitamin C Eye Reviver Duo £14.00
This double-ended treat consists of a cooling gel for the eyes at one end and with a refreshing cream at the other. After using both products your eyes feel wide awake and ready to take on the day.
The cooling gel is also handy to use throughout the day if you suffer from eye fatigue.
And lastly after moisturizing I apply
This acts not only as a pretty amazing radiance booster but also as a kick ass primer for your skin. After application your skin honestly feels like velvet and leaves an opaque base for flawless makeup application. I have written a blog about this product before and you can find it
And if all of that isn’t enough to keep me healthy consuming plenty of clementines over the festive period certainly will.
