So as we stumble into March some of you still high on Valentines love and some still rolling their eyes in despair at Fifty Shades of Grey , what else could have possibly sent our digits racing towards the keyboard during the romantic month of Febraury ???
Yes you guessed it February Favourites time.
Keeping to the theme of love my first February Fave is this …..
Now as a youngster I loved these sweets and the fact that I have an air freshner in almost every conceivable place in my home, car, office and work when I spotted this in the Factory Shop at £1.50 it really was a no brainer….
I purchased this for my office and a strawberry one for home and boy do they smell AMAZING !!! Cute little bottles with that 80’s retro logo so I ask you … “What is there not to love” ? To date thy are still smelling strong , and I am hoping that they go the distance. Which is more than I can say for any of my romances during the 80’s !!!
Next up is ….
Bunny Cake by Yankee Candle. As soon as I smelt this I immediatly thought of my mum baking alongside my valiant attempts at stealing the cake mixture left in the bowl when she wasn’t looking . She use to make a sponge cake weekly and I would watch and wait until the opportunity arose to stick my finger into the bowl and into my mouth quicker than she could shout “” Amanda-Jane ”
This candle smells just like cake mixture and with Easter fast approaching you can now get the same high but without the calories….
Now this Sleek product had me in turmoil.
I have used this Rose Gold Sleek blush as a blusher and been loving it Then one day I decided to use it on my eyes, instead of my the Mac pigment (also in Rose Gold ) …. it was then I realised there was hardly any difference between the two. Winn …… ing !!!!! Which now means I have more money in my pocket to spend on more of this range…
Oh my days this thick cream is THE BEST !!
This thick creamy eye cream enriched with Avocado leaves that all so delicate eye area totally moisturised. I have seen such great results over the last month whilst using this and will be making this one of my staple beauty products.
And with this product being Ophthalmologist and Dermatologist-Tested it wont leave you looking like this..
Now I recently brought this …
Urban Decay Sheer Revolution Lipstick in Sheer Liar which is a nudey brown shade. I cannot stop using this lipstick it is highly moisturising you really cannot mistake that Shea Butter content. It has a smooth buttery application and a slight plumping effect to the lips. The packaging is funky , pretty and totally Urban.
As I have now started using this a lot and in the spirit of mixing it up I have teamed it up with this on a few occasions for an evening look.
This Mac Lipgloss in shade Turkish Delight is an old favourite of mine which I have now resurrected .I forgot how much I loved this and when applied over the Urban Decay lipstick it really does look so darn pretty. This creamy pink sherbet tone is the cherry on my lipstick cake !!
I hope that you have enjoyed my February favourites and if you try any of the products I have mentioned let me know in the comments section.
